FAQs About The Pageant
Can my child participate in the Pageant?
As long as your child resides in the Barberton City School or Norton City School district or has a parent that works in Barberton or Norton they can participate in the Barberton Christmas Walk Pageant.
How are contestants judged?
All contestants will be scored in these categories: beauty, attire, personality and overall presentation.
How much does it cost to be apart of the pageant?
There is a non-refundable Presale fee of $20 per contestant good until 11/1, after that the price goes to $30 per contestant for the Pageant. Admission for day of event is $1 per person or $5 max for immediate families. Contestant’s have free admission.
Where is the pageant held?
The pageant will be held at Barberton Moose, 250 31st St NW, Barberton, OH 44203. Please use the entrance on the back left side of the building. We’ll have signs posted to help guide you!
What should my child wear for the Pageant?
Females can wear Easter-style dresses, prom dresses, pageant gowns/cupcake style dresses. Males can wear dress pants, suits, jackets and ties if desired. Everything should be age appropriate and modest. No high slits, deep plunging necklines, body piercings or visible tattoos. Dress to impress!
Will contestants have to do any public speaking?
Yes all contestants will have to speak. Princess/Prince division will answer 2 questions and Jr Queen/Queen/King will have to answer 3 questions.
What does a contestant win?
Top winners of each age division will receive a crown/tiara, Barberton Christmas Walk pin and sash. Runners up in each category will receive a runner up medal with a Barberton Christmas Walk pin.
New this year: Top winners will receive scholarships from the Barberton Christmas Walk and the South Summit Chamber of Commerce!

To secure their spot you must pay the non-refundable $20.00 registration fee - Presale price good until 11/1, after that price goes to $30.00 per contestant. Only 30 contestants per group will be accepted so reserve your spot today.
Doors for event open at 10am, Pageant begins at 11am. Please come dressed and ready to go.
